Building work on our new Beverley centre gets underway! On Monday 17th June, work began on our new, 9 room therapy centre in Beverley. Due to open in September, the centre is a key part of our expansion plans for 2019/2020 and will be our largest centre to date. Tucked away in a quiet location off North Bar, the centre will be an ideal location for Let's Talk patients living in North Hull or working in Beverley, and will also be a perfect location for our East Riding-based clients. Our counselling courses have continued to grow in popularity over the past couple of years. To help meet demand, we have created a new, expanded training schedule for 2020. Our new schedule sees us increase our Level 1 courses from four to six, and our Level 2 courses from three to four. The Zero Suicide Alliance is a collaborative of NHS trusts, businesses and individuals who are all committed to suicide prevention in the UK and beyond. The alliance is ultimately concerned with improving support for people contemplating suicide by raising awareness of and promoting FREE suicide prevention training which is accessible to all. We are pleased to announce the launch of our new range of 'Bitesize' courses, suitable for Level 2 students and above. Courses will run weekly for 5 weeks from our Kingston Centre office in Hull City Centre. Our new courses will take an in-depth look at a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Gestalt, Person-centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
